Experience Overview
The Ryder Cup is more than just a golf tournament—it's an event steeped in history, passion, and national pride. Unlike other events, there's no prize money on the line, only the honor of winning the iconic trophy for your team. The electrifying match-play format, combined with the energy of passionate fans, creates an atmosphere unlike any other in sport. Hosted alternately by Europe and the United States, each venue provides a spectacular backdrop for this historic rivalry. The 2027 Ryder Cup is coming to Ireland, and we're thrilled to welcome you to this momentous occasion. From September 24-26, the stunning Adare Manor will host the event for the first time, marking only the second time the Republic of Ireland has held this competition. We're currently planning a series of tailored private tours to complement your time at the event, ensuring you experience the very best of Irish hospitality and culture.
The on-course action unfolds over three exciting days. On Friday and Saturday, you'll witness the intensity of four-ball and foursomes matches. In four-ball, each player plays their own ball, with the lower score winning the hole. In foursomes, partners take turns hitting a single ball, which demands incredible teamwork. These team matches are often the most dramatic, highlighting the camaraderie and strategy that define the Ryder Cup. Sunday is reserved for singles matches, where all 12 players go head-to-head in a high-stakes finale. This is where the fate of the Cup is decided, with every shot and every point critical. The pressure is immense, making these matches must-see television, or even better, a must-see in person. We invite you to explore the beauty and rich history of Ireland as you attend one of golf's most celebrated events.
